THEIR STORY.

- Ara was five when the aliens came so she doesn't remember a world without them. Their family was one of the ones that never trusted them and never would, probably because her mom was an MI5 operative and Knew Better. Even before she realized why, mom was quickly and silently teaching Ara and her brother everything she knew just in case. She grew up learning various tricks and skills that would come in handy later in life.
- When The Fall came, she was only fifteen but by then the siblings were prepared. Mom fought back with whoever was left, and her brother (older and already more experienced by then) disappeared into the shadows but Ara was Veiled against her will. Life carried on and she eventually joined "MI5" too, driven by some vestigial desire from her old life; but by then the organization was basically a support department that worked with the Architect's forces.
- Then one day, Ara woke up and found herself UnVeiled via TIF. It was confusing and disruptive and fucking complicated. It took her days to figure it out and start seeking help. Finding more UnVeiled proved hard and like Bishop, Ara became a ghost (on paper) and slipped through the cracks until she found herself with a group of UnVeiled. Then some time later, came the DisLinked recruiter who knew exactly what to dangle in front of her to get her onboard: her brother. The rest is history.

- Joined DisLinked with her current false identity for Bishop's safety and leaders would know about this. (He says it's for her safety, both are and can be true).
- Mom is French German, dad is Korean. According to her false identity however, her mom is Korean and her dad is German. They're both dead so it doesn't really matter.
- Bishop expected her to join him in Espionage but Ara knew her temper and anger at the Architects would be better served in Battlest. Also harboring a small gripe because he left and she was Veiled for nine years.
- Was on the team that destroyed the Veil Node in Cuq, France two years ago. Gravely injured :)
